Juliet
Spider silk woven so thin, soft and tender
Yet your touch makes even silk
Seem so rough, your very breath
Breaths a silky air
Mysteries within, sending all in awe
All are stunned by your glow
As the sun, bright yet wonderful
Alas the sun must set
Though your beauty stays true
Through the night or cold, cold winter
And your smile, so sweet, sweeter than sugar
So warm that fire seems colder
It melts hearts in sweet surrender
You are the one, and only
It makes humanity seem unworthy
With their vainity and boasting
To face such true beauty
Lasting and wonderful
Beauty, who do you love?
For may I tell you
I love you and I stay at your mercy
For you are a woman
The one woman
Who makes my heart beat like so
Will you be my Juliet?
No, may i be Your romeo?
My Queen Juliet
Adapted from Sonnet 18,
William Shakespear
