"Men are afraid of marrying cleverer women" - WTH?!

I chipped this phrase from Abel's blog. According to him, some dunno-who-the-heck Chew said this when interviewed by the newspapers. She (what? A SHE?) said many men in the country were getting married to foreign women through mailing services (Err...so what?). Well, according to her, this was because "men are scared of marrying cleverer women" (Abel, 2007). My first reaction when i read that:

WTF?!?!

(It's exactly what you think it means)

Hmm....i do admit that i have a thing for stereotypical views and comments - a thing against. But, this is something that sounds like a open insult to foreign women. This dunno-who-the-heck Chew is implying that local women are smarter than local men and that foreign women not clever.

*Ahem*
1) Since when was there a significant IQ gap between men and women? Nobody is smarter than the other, everyone has their own individual strengths and weaknesses (gogo individualism!)

2) Foreign women are stupid? Har? Where did you get that idea from? And what gives you the right to call other people stupid?

4) I think we have a sexist here. But, i seriously don't know which type she is. We got the male-chauvanists and the feminists. But this one, oh, this one is so weird. She is biased that she says that local females are smart and knoweldgeable. But, then she goes and is biased against foreign women, who she implies are stupid. Please tell me, what should i call this pro-antagonistic behavior against women?!?!? Oh.... hypocrite-feministism?? WTH?

You know, maybe she's upset, or maybe she's just jealous that she didn't marry a better person. Why bother who other people marry? Even if you do comment, you should start calling other people stupid! !@#$%

You know, maybe it's a case of Freud's subconscious state arising in her. She knows that she's stupid so she tries to cover up by telling everyone that local women are clever (it must be it).
