We got teeth in our PFC
Why? According to a most esteemed lecturer, who is currently teaching PY 203 in a certain college:
"Alzheimer patients form plaque in their brains" (Tomatosensory cortex, 2007).
Okay, there seems to be nothing wrong with the above sentence. Until...
Did you know there are actually two ways of reading the word "plaque"?
1) The correct reference towards Alzheimer's Disease would be pronounced as Plaikes as in:
Amyloid plaques
2) The second one would be dental plaque, pronounced plak as in
Dental plaque
And you guessed it, she pronounced it as plak...wow...an interesting find.
Seeing that she's done research on Alzheimer's Disease before, she must be correct. So be warned, you might one day find out you forgot to brush your brain. And, the next time you experience a headache, it's probably just another tooth coming growing in your prefrontal cortex, because that's where all the plaque starts to grow.
So, please feel free to proceed to the nearest dentist to get a prefrontal check-up.
