Retrospective
A turn of events that lead to one special day which i would forever remember. It was about a tree that stood on the top of the hill. But the hill was not something very special, it was just a place that i liked to pass by while on my travels pass the little lake. All of a sudden, a storm brew in the skies. It came as if out of nowhere, starting with a strike of lightning in a clear sky. That lightning forked down in a flash and made contact with a house in the middle of the village. The house was not the finest, nor was it the most run down, it was just the decent place for one to stay. The villagers rushed to the lakeside with pales and rice sacks. They attempted to put out the fire with water gathered from the lake. It was as if an entire swarm of ants had stumbled upon some left over food on the ground. As ants did, the villagers did too. One person hailed another, and the other hailed many more, and from there on many, many more people came to aid of the situation. The house was burning down quickly but the embers seemed to be growing bigger and bigger as the villagers splashed more water onto it. It grew into an inferno, until for a moment one villager just stared in amazement. It was as if he saw the fire as a dancing figure, joyously receiving the water that the villagers were laborously collecting to put it out. Then he shouted: "Stop!"
For that moment, surprisingly, everyone stopped. All attempts to put out the fire were suddenly halted. In some amazing trickery of fate, all the villagers were not entranced by the inferno infront of them that seemed to be dancing as it burned down the house...
Then the fire stopped too.
