Flowing water
Flowing water. What is it? A fascination of nature, one of the elements that make up the world and an essential need of mankind. It has many forms, but utterly it is an element that people can learn from. Maybe this is how mother nature teaches us how to live our lives, through it elements.
In a calm pool of water that we find in the lakes within valleys in mountain ranges and inside forests of trees and jungles, there's an abundance of creatures that gather around. One by one, each individual, each species and each herd drinks from the life that stirs within this essence brought by the earth. As these creatures drink, they all admit that there are times which are kept for rest and abandonment of all rivalries and grudges. Yet we, as a single species, still have problems to keep this much envied peace. There are always some grudges to keep and somebody that we see with a turned eye. Of course, there's always a beautiful instance that we somehow find ourselves filled with nothing but brotherhood and those are the moments we most cheerish. Alas, if only those moments may last longer, the world might just be a better place.
In a stream that flows from a top a mountain, or a hill, or even some valcano that boils with hot springs; you may find a scene that brings much needed hope when bearing down all the dark moments in life. There's always a time or two, or perhaps even now, which you find a hard journey to walk through. If you spend some time to sit down and just stare at the river water you'll realise that it's flowing. Of course, that merely just stating the obvious. Though, if some thought is given to it, you'll soon realise that the water has never stopped flowing. Although it seems a very small thing, it has the importance that equals that of greater than mountains. Imagine something so lifeless that seemingly just flows towards the sea to join its brothers and sisters, posseses nothing but the will to go on. Perhaps, it is mother nature in a guise. Showing us some hope whenever we look towards it.
Though, even water has its rough days to journey pass. One sees it in places that rivers are laden with huge rocks and deep trenches that form waterfalls. It's another one of nature's way of telling us a story. Since the beginning of the earth, there was water. Then the land came, since then water has never been the same. It was as if something was in its way. But there wasn't any giving up, and it passed through every test the lands set out for it. Even though if it meant starting out far away from its family in the sea, it made the long journey until it reached the great oceans. So what's there for mere man to complain about, when all we need to live for is a hundred years?
One of flowing water's most prominent attributes is fluidity. It might be seen as the most valued one for living beings. The ability to be able to adapt to its surroundings is what has made water such an able explorer to the far reaches of the earth. There's no doubt that any living thing can survive without at least a little hint of adaptability.
