Reverie
In living memory...
as i move forward
there's a place for my head
a place for my peace
and a place for my heart
through thick or thin
and perhaps even the test of time
shall not wipe away the memory
i guess it'll only fade
when i wither and die
the moment the world is rid of me
Indifference...
Maybe it's all been inside of me
when i close my eyes
i can feel a fuzzy feeling
the warmth that makes my day
and a taste of honey
with the smell of a tea-party
it feels like heaven
God forbid that i lose it again
Sealed...
A trepidatious arena
where the ground is thin ice
and the rain is fire
where there lay pitfalls everywhere
and the grass, razor sharp
the trees nest ravens
ever watching, hunting, menacing, killing on sight
i shall thread like a phantom
a path without love
where only illusions may survive
i'll live a phantom
in a world without love
a struggle for survival
an abstinance of pity
Frozen tundra...
A sky of fire
burning, infernal,
simmering air
a place for the unliving
where only the air is alive
in locks of fire
but the earth is frozen
beneath it a tundra
concealing a lake
a glimmer of hope
the fire's ironic ruling
making it's own grave
breaking the ice
only to see revival
the unliving shall go
and the earth shall live
Dispute...
A hegemony of words
aided by pictures, sounds
but not a living mind
we take it for granted
but who would have known
we reading white lies
told just to sustain
an empty, unfascinating existance
we are just zombies
living in a tomb
made of flesh and bone
there is no hope
without a living mind
