Nostalgia

A flicker of a dream
and i saw the sight of you
once again my heart startled
and my mind froze
such an unexpected intrusion
into my mind
and my own world
though, perhaps i let you in...

and the sight alone
brought back a thousand others
within a frame of a second
my body fell
and my senses blazed
my mind turned stone
and i was hypnotized
and then, it was gone...

lost in the haze
of my waking moment
and i lay back to the wall
and let the nostalgia take over
my body felt limp
i was lost once again
still thinking of you...
