Mysteries of the unknown
A pathway of fire glows with bright yellow and blue flickering streak, lighting the cave floor in a streak of waving lights and blending shadows. At the ends of the tunnel, a gigantic sphere lays still, the air around it still smouldering from the heat emanating from the surface of the metaloid monstrosity. A work of art, a staggering feat of architecture, the sphere is a perfect circle from every angle and such a beauty without a scratch or seem visible to the naked eye, yet the intensity of its existence would strike fear in every being that held it within sight.
The wake of the blaze had sucked out almost all the air in the cave, as if within an instant a devilish creature had emerged and incinerated even the air atoms of the area, the cave had temporarily became a vacuum for moments counting. Though it was not the bidding of any devil creature, but the path of destruction that the sphere had left trailing behind it. Even now, the air was still slowly making its way back to fill the cave. However, the heat around the sphere still kept the atmosphere around it devoid of any breathing. It seemed almost alive, capturing space for its own selfish reasons of existance. Nothing could touch it within the void and barrier of heat, it was untouchable and indestructable.
Yet who knew, when its temper had lowered and a cool and calm composure took over, something much awaited would occur. After all had cooled, who knew what lurked within?
