Sane or Insane?
We all know that each one of us is unique in our own way, whether it is concerned with flow of thought, intelligence or social ability. The way we think and the things that we do become the facts that tell people about us and how they would view us. However, everything is subject to an individual and one person's difficult task may be another's easy task.
Pondering about philosphies, i've come to a conclusion that either we are sane or insane to think about such things. Most people think of philosophies as either a waste of time or just plain crap. But to a certain group of people that have attained a certain level and type of intelligence, it is the prime subjects of their lives.
You may be thinking that philosophy is just nothing but what those "geeks" think about in their little "thinking rooms" and in the end turn mad. But do you realise that your everyday actions have something to do with philosophy? It has something to do with your ethics or your way of speech or your way of dealing with daily matter whether trivial or vitally important to your survival, basically it has something to do with everything in your life.
I have many times encountered people who have different conceptions of philosophies with me. As an example, i have a friend who would crack his head over thinking of what he would do for his future. He is so undecided that he can't decide on whether to do "Business Administration" or "Mass Communications". For those of you that aren't in the light with these two subjects, "Business Administration" and "Mass Communications" are of similiar fields. They intertwine with each other in their various fields of study. But why, why, why, why...why? To me, i would just choose whichever one fitted me most and came to my liking. But for him, even the finest detail of these two subjects are to be scrutinized and confounded until he can come out with a solution to his "predicatment" of choice.
To me, i would ponder on things like "why is this formula derived in this matter" and "what are the basic foundations of deontological ethics" when my friend would not even scratch a hair on his head to even think about these two topics.
So, do i consider him insane for pondering about those two subjects to choose from? Or does he consider me mad because i choose to find out the root cause for those two complexed subjects?
So philosophically speaking, are humans sane or insane?
